Kaylla Davies

Kaylla has been our client since 2023. When she came to us, she was severely depressed and experiencing suicidal thoughts. Over time, she lost her passion for life, started self-isolating and became directionless. When we started the coaching process, she was 10 kgs underweight, had no strength or fitness and was barely eating.

After 18 months working with the team, Kaylla has gained 7 kgs and dramatically increased her strength and fitness. Through the process of slowly implementing better daily health habits, she has transformed her self confidence and ability to connect to others. The impact of this journey has been so profound, that it inspired her to change careers and pursue a new path in the health and fitness industry.

Kaylla’s Process

  • We worked on slowly introducing more calorie dense ingredients and whole food meals into her diet. We started with simple steps such as adding protein powder into her breakfasts and increasing portion sizes of meals she was familiar with. Eventually, we supported her in designing a better self organizing system, that enables her to learn how to plan, prepare and cook balanced meals for the whole week.

  • We knew Kaylla loved mountain biking, so we used that as a direction for her strength work. During her sessions, we worked on compound lifts that engaged her whole body and increased her confidence to get back on the bike. Maintaining weekly progression was always the focus.

  • Going beyond the 1on1 relationship with a coach, we encouraged Kaylla to engage in activities with a group of people. Our goal was to break the self-isolation cycle by helping her feel welcomed, supported and connected with new people. This practice helped her rebuild her identity and have the courage to take on new challenges.

  • The hardest part of the process was supporting her to slowly change how she viewed herself. We worked on improving her self-talk and internal limiting beliefs through honest conversations, self reflection exercises, journalling and meditation. This consistent practice created the space she needed to step into a new version of herself.

  • Kaylla became greatly inspired by the journey she had been on, the coach / client relationships she formed with us and the community we built. With the support of the whole team , Kaylla developed the confidence to take on a new career path in the health and fitness industry.
